Wonderful News!
Parkinson’s New Zealand has given our Uccello Kettle a lovely review in their quarterly magazine ‘’The Parkinsonian’’.
This particular issue of the Parkinsonian was significant as they were celebrating 200 years since Parkinson’s was first recognized. Not forgetting that it had a featured article on the 50 years of treatment of Parkinson’s.
April 11th every year is World Parkinson’s Day. It’s a huge day across the globe aimed at raising awareness, understanding, and to grow a global Parkinson’s community. #UniteForParkinsons hashtag was launched the same year as the magazine and is a great way to build the growing community.
Within the review they talk about the kettle’s design, they were really impressed with the kettles weighted base and rotating axis that allows for the safe delivery of hot water.
It’s the small things that count and a bit of lateral thinking can make all the difference.
This certainly puts a smile on our faces, to know that we can help so many across the world by bringing joy back into the kitchen and their daily life. To get such a positive review lets us know we are on the right track.
If we can get our hands on a copy of the magazine, we will share it with you here, but until then we want to share something else for those who have or know someone who has Parkinson’s.
Have you heard of Family Assets?
We found an amazing company called Family Assets who do an amazing job in trying to raise awareness about Parkinson’s.
Family Assets have published an in-depth and helpful guide on how caretakers and families can support their loved ones.
They are on Facebook if you would like to join the community too.
